Merge, the film

Merge was inspired by observing the elements of the natural world seamlessly absorb into one another.

A second layer of merging takes place as contemporary dance & acrylic paintings come together to share a narrative from the natural world.

Merge the film was a part of a month long exhibition at Allpress Studio, Auckland City.

Nine acrylic paintings were exhibited in the Allpress Studio, with Merge the film playing on loop on a large digital screen.
